Simplify: 4x^-2(2x^3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4/x^(-2) can be simplified to 4/(x^2). Then multiply that by (2x^3). The x^2 on the bottom of the 4 cancels with the x^3 you are multiplying by resulting in 4*2*x or 8x.
