can some one refresh my memory. I feel dumb cause its basic algebra............ ugh -.-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all i remember is that you have to solve for the first one then plug it in the second equation??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since y is y, you can solve \[12-x=2+4x\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can pretty much do it in your head add \(x\), subtract \(2\) divide by \(5\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so x = 2 then i just plug in right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes you got it
