if humans evolved from monkeys
whya re there still monkeys

Well, evolution is not fact, it hasn't been proven. To me, there are still monkeys because people didn't evolve from them. For me, God created it all. That way, nothing really "evolved".
It is my belief.

It's a fact. That isn't how science works. There's a common ancestor from which we both evolved from. You can't just ignore the facts, the topological records, etc. and say I don't believe it

So why do we have monkeys. Just because a specie is evolved from an ancestor does not necessarily imply extinction. Not the biggest evolution biologist but I'm kinda sure that if I mutate my cell culture the previous culture won't just die like a snap from god (or being hit by a lightning)

I just don't believe it, period. We are all entitled to our own thoughts, opinions, and beliefs. I have to get back to my school, I am kind of behind on work. And I have all the proof and faith I need.

i support frostbite's explanation!!! evolution doesnt mean extinction of the original one...it is just gradual change....this doesnt mean the whole population is changing...probably only a small group out of the whole species population started undergoing adaptations which eventully led to evolution...so thus we hv 2 species...
