please help me. will medal and fan
We have 8 pieces of strawberry candy and 7 pieces of pineapple candy. In how many ways can we distribute this candy to 4 kids?
...each kid gets 2 pieces of strawberry and 1 piece of pineapple
there can be no extra candies
well if you only have 15 pieces of candy you cannot evenly distribute the candies to 4 kids
you dont need to evenly distribute it. you just need to give them all out
So one kid will be missing one then.
Then 1 kid is going to get less than the others
It wouldn't make much sense if you didn't have to distribute them.
yes
distribute them "equally".
This is a probability question so I apologize for it being so confusing.
Hmm..... Let me look-up things...one second ;)
Pull out a calculator while I'm away ;)
I didnt say equally. I just said all the candies must be distributed out to all the children.
Alright....I think I get it. 1. Add 7+8 2. Divide them among the kids
by the way thanks @breanna77 for trying to help. really appreciated
you're welcome!
Excuse my mistake... 1. 7+8=15 2. Divide fifteen among the kids
Here let me attach a file link.
