OpenStudy (anonymous):

(7p-1)3=((7px3)-(1x3))= 21p-3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the distributive property

OpenStudy (anonymous):

isn't suppose to be like this 3(7p-1) in order to distribute

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i get it thanks a lot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3(7p-1) and (7p-1)3 are the same thing. Just like 4x3 and 3x4 both equal 12. I forget the name of that property though. If it was division or subtraction, it wouldn't work that way
