Why is "Mi abuelo es argentina" Incorrect? why is the verb ser correct in the sentence "Marco es trabajador"?

Well the answer is is incorrct because you are saying my grandmother is argentina. For it to be corect you must say mi abuela es de argentina which means my grandmother is from argentina. As for the second part, ser is correct in this sentence because it means to be and in this particular sentence you are saying Marco is hardworking. Hope this explained it.
