Check my answer please?! Medal + Fan :) Evaluate the following expression using the values given: Find 4x - y - 2z if x = -2, y = 3, and z = -2 A) -15 B) 15 C) -7 D) 7 I got the answer -7 because 4(-2) - 3 - 2(-2) = -7 But I don't have my notes right now and I'm not sure if I need to change any of the signs from - to +.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because I know if it's 4(-2) - 3 + 2(-2) then it equals -15 so I'm not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A would be your answear :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it positive because of the double negatives? The - 2(-2) part, I mean.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct. Two negatives make a positive
