find examples of grocery item prices in a newspaper on television or on the internet compare unit prices of two different brands of the same item explains which item is the better buy
Welcome to Openstudy. :) This is a rather easy qestion. All you really can do is go to a supermarket's website and compare two brands of something. For example, two brands of bread, two brands or soda, etc... It would be best to compare the store-brand to the brand-mark of the item. So if you compare two sodas, you could compare the store-brand cola and Coca-Cola brand soda. Make sure when you get your two items that both items are the same thing and have the same number of ounces. I would also go with something liquid and easy to compare such as mouthwash, a two-liter soda, or maybe even a gallon of milk. Basically, what this assignment wants you to do is find the UNIT PRICE. So, in this case it would be how much you are spending for each ounce of the liquid. Once you find the two items, I will help you find the unit price. Just tag me like this: @hugsnotughs :))

I don't have the answer. YOU must find two grocery items that are the same size and item, but different brands. Then, I can help you with finding the unit price. :)
