3x^2+x−1/2=0

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Hey Vanne,\[\Large\rm 3x^2+x-\frac{1}{2}=0\]We need to solve for x? I would use Satellite's recommendation from the last time you posted this, Multiply both sides by 2,\[\Large\rm 6x^2+2x-3=0\]

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Then throw it into the quadratic function:\[\Large\rm x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}\]

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Woops :) My multiplication was a little off lol \[\Large\rm 6x^2+2x-1=0\]
