Which best explains why the shape of a liquid can change? The particles have just enough energy to move past each other. The particles are charged. The particles move at very high speeds at all times. The particles are highly compressible.

its not the particles are compressible. most liquids are incompressible, that is they have fixed volumes and constant densities. that narrows it down to three. does that help?
thank you both
A liquid is flowing matter. The particles of a liquid can easily move and glide over each other. Definite volume but no shape so it takes the shape of the container it's in.
give me a medal :)
