ax+b=c solve for x

OpenStudy (uri):

Quadratic equation..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a) x= c-b/a b)x=a/c-b c)x=c+b/a d)x=a(c-b)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

those are the answer choices

OpenStudy (lxelle):

Minus b on both sides, you'll get ax=c-b. Solve for x right? You divide x on both sides to make sure x is the only unknown on LHS. Therefore, x=c-b/a

OpenStudy (zpupster):

she means divide "a" on both sides and left with x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thankyou!!!

OpenStudy (lxelle):

@zpupster thanks man for pointing out my mistake. :)
