I just need to check my answers for a project I'm doing!

For the second one IDK if I am supposed to turn it into an inverse function or what, but if someone can explain I'll really appreciate it! :)

Using the two functions listed below, insert numbers in place of the letters a, b, c, and d so that f(x) and g(x) are inverses. f(x) = (x + a)/b g(x) = cx - d A = 5 B = 3 C = 7 D = 6 f(x) = (x + 5)/3 g(x) = 7x - 6 Show your work to prove that the inverse of f(x) is g(x). f(x) = (x + 5)/3 y = (x + 5)/3 x = (y + 5)/3 y = 3x - 5 f^-1(x) = 3x - 5 g(x) = 7x - 6 y = 7x - 6 x = 7y - 6 + 6 + 6 (x + 6)/7 = 7y/7 (x + 6)/7 = y (x + 6)/7 = g^-1(x)
