I have to give the a and b values for the linear transformation that expresses the change. Then, I need to explain how the transformation will affect the mean, the IQR, and the Standard Deviation.

A) you collected data on the power of car engines. You need to convert into watts from horsepower. One horse power is 746 watts. How do you solve this!?!
OpenStudy (perl):
so you are given x horsepower. you want the number of watts if you multiply x by 746 you will get watts, since each horsepower is 746 watts.

Hey @perl ...Thanks for being altruistic. I know how to convert it onto watts but, what the questions was requesting is really confusing me.
