Certain cells in the immune system are called polymorphonuclear leukocytes. What does the name suggest about the cells? I know it is "many shapes" but I am not sure if its the nucleus in the cells that changes shape just as the name suggests.

They are called `Polymorphonuclear` because of there varying shapes of nucleus.
