Question

1st Question in AP Computer Science ;3

While I am not in AP classes for CS I am enrolled in Honors classes that relate to the subject. I was hoping I could talk to others who are in my position or others who are in an even higher position(AP classes). What fields in Computer Science are you guys pursuing and why? Also, any tips for an aspiring engineer? c;

I am enrolled in an AP Computer Science class, we are learning Java. @KonradZuse's favourite language, unless it has changed since we last spoke.

As for the fields in Computer Science, I find myself interested in not just Computer Science, but Computer Engineering alone. Currently a university I went to checkout said their CE and CS department are combined, so CE and CS are highly related. I am interested in a lot of the logic used in Computer Science so I may decided to try to do Pure Mathematics as well.

If you ever do decided to take AP Computer Science, do not miss a day of class. The course I am currently taking moves fast, we learn one thing per one day, and after the unit is done we have tests on the core subjects. (Unlike normal courses, were they give you the topic in one day, and you normally have two to three days to practice it.)
