Ok lets look at it this way, is pollution a disease? Well kind of, and it can cause us to get them, but that would not be right for this question, so its easily eliminated. Ok so do volcanic eruptions cause pollution? YES MAJOR POLLUTION!!! If the asteroid never hit earth and killed the dinos the pollution from the volcano would have caused them to die out. The pollution was causing temps to lower, tons of smog/smoke darking the earth & tons more. I think that can be eliminated, even though its the obvious choice, because its extremely rare and very unlikely that a volcano will erupt and cause that much pollution anytime soon.

Floods don't really cause pollution, so you can eliminate that of course. That leaves us with chemical spills, now this can cause a lot of pollution, and I think this is the answer its looking for. I would go with that one.
