If anyone can help, I need a refresher for this. Use factoring techniques to solve: 34x-2x^2=5x^2-5

OpenStudy (imstuck):

You have to combine like terms first. You have a -2x^2 and a 5x^2 to combine, then get everything on one side together and set it equal to 0. Like this:

OpenStudy (imstuck):

\[0=7x ^{2}-34x-5\]Now you can factor it. I recommend using the quadratic formula for this if you know it.
