how do i rearrange to isolate a? (a+b/c)(d-e)=f(d-e)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Move over (d-e) to the right side through division, so (a+b/c)=[f(d-e)]/(d-e). (d-e) cancels the other (d-e), so you get a+b/c=f -> Move b/c over through subtraction, so a=f-(b/c) Unless you mean (a+b)/c, in which case you move c over through multiplication, so you get a+b=fc -> then move b over through subtraction, so a=fc-b
