Most cases users think it's for no reason when they really had done something. To most they think nothing is wrong that they did nothing wrong and that it's only unfair what was done. If you really had concern you could have contacted any online moderator to ask what happened or why you had gotten what you had. Just be happy it wasn't a suspension.
