given that f(x)=x squared+3x+6 and g(x)= x-3/2, solve for f(g(x)) when x=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so first you have to find g(x) and if x=1 you will take the g(x) equation and plug in 1 for x and it will be 1-3/2 which equals -1 and then youre going to plug in -1 for x in the f(x) equation so it will look like -1+3+6 which equals 8
