List the name of the author, last name first. For example:

Smith, John.

If there is more than one author, list the names in the following format:

Smith, John, and Tim Jones.

Smith, John, Tim Jones, and James Johnson.

If there is no author, skip this step.

List the title of the book in italics, followed by a period. Write the title in title case; that is, capitalize the first letter of each word in the title.
