Do you feel the age gap between grandchildren and grandparents is made worse by technology? What can young adults today do to remain close to their elders?
The age gap might be worse because of technology. Mainly because of technology such as smartphones, computers, iPads etc. A lot of young people, even children uses these technologies, while their elders aren't familiar with the technologies. This creates a gap, due to the difference in interests, knowledge and use of technologies. As for the second question, what young adults can do to remain close to their elders. I believe there could be multiple options. For example, you could teach your grandparents to text on their phones, and stay in contact with them, through technology. Or, alternatively, you could meet them, and spend time talking, face to face, without having technological interruptions. I hope this gives you some ideas yourself. Best of Luck! (:
