Determine the standard form of the equation of the line that passes through (9,-4) and (6,4)

First, you have to calculate the slope of the line (m) using the formula (y2-y1)/(x2-x1). Then you plug that into the standard equation form y=mx+b as m. Then you can plug in the x and y coordinate of one of the points into x and y in the equation and solve for the y intercept, b.
