someone plzz help

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

Because in order for them to be cut proportionally, all sides of the cutting line must be parallel to the third line.|dw:1409870618372:dw|

srry i dont understand

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

Do you know what exactly a parallel line is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes its two lines next too each other and will never intersect

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

Yes, and for the previous statement to be true, the triangle would have to be an isosceles triangle, which has two equal sides :)
