FAN and MEDAL If the area of a rectangle 16s2t and the length is 8st2, what would the width of the rectangle, given that width is found by dividing area by length? Simplify the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

16s2t/8st2 the t2 cancels out so that you're left with 16s/8s then s cancels out so you're left with 16/8 this easily simplifies to two therefore the width of the rectangle is two
