Five more than three times a number is sixty- five. Write an equation and what is the number?

OpenStudy (deepolisnoob):

Write out in numerical form what this would look like; 5+3*x=65. To solve for that number(x), you subtract 5 from both sides, leaving 3x=60 Divide both sides by 3 to get x alone, so x=20

I got it right, thanks for clarifying.
