m

OpenStudy (aum):

Sum of the three angles of a triangle = 180 degrees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i would just divide 180 by 3?

OpenStudy (aum):

Can you post a screenshot of the problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, 1 sec

OpenStudy (aum):

Okay, it is not necessary.

OpenStudy (aum):

Let m<A = x m<B = 2m<A = 2 * x = 2x m<C = 3m<A = 3 * x = 3x Sum of three angles of a triangle = 180 degrees. Therefore, x + 2x + 3x = 180 6x = 180 x = 30 m<A = x = 30 degrees m<B = 2x = 2*30 = 60 degrees m<C = 3x = 3*30 = 90 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so 17 would be m<A=x+10 m<B=x m<C=2x-10?

OpenStudy (aum):

For 17, make m<A = x

OpenStudy (aum):

m<A = x m<B = m<A + 10 = x + 10 m<C = 2m<A - 10 = 2x - 10 x + x + 10 + 2x - 10 = 0 solve for x. Put it back in the three angles and calculate them.

wouldnt it =180?
