help???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Given two points on the line, input the equation of the line in standard form Ax + By = C. Reduce all fractional answers to lowest terms. (6, 1), (5, 4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

? sorry ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that what I said @Thatguy12310 I don't understand what they want or how to get it

OpenStudy (deepolisnoob):

(6,1),(5,4) has a slope of 3/-1, or -3/1. You plug that in to your points to find your y-intercept. Your b value will be 19.Your equation in y=mx+b will be\[y=-3/1x+19\]

OpenStudy (deepolisnoob):

you then convert the formula into standard form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it confusion me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay thank you @Deepolisnoob so it would be 3x+y=19
