Which of these processes produce the most ATP? A. all produce the same B. Anaerobic respiration C. Aerobic respiration D. Photosynthesis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

AEROBIC RESPIRATION! This produces a net gain of about 36 ATP per molecule of glucose. Anaerobic respiration (aka fermentation) gets ATP only from the first step, glycolysis. That yields a net gain of only 2 ATP. i'm not really sure how hydrolysis would get ATP from glucose. Hydrolysis is the splitting of polymers into monomers by adding a water molecule between the bonds. Since glucose is a monomer, i didn't know it could be hydrolyzed...
