The main tank has a radius of 70 feet. What is the volume of the quarter-sphered sized tank? Round your answer to the nearest whole number. You must explain your answer using words, and you must show all work and calculations to receive credit.
Will you help @aryandecoolest
yeah sure..never fear when i am there lol... i'll try @_Joanna_
Thanks i did this problem before but i got it wrong
It is problem number 1
hmm so volume of sphere\[4/3\pi r^3\] one quarter means divide it by 4 so new volume will be, \[V=\pi r ^ 3/3\] substitute 70 in place of r.... you will get required answer :) you will get about 359,000 cubic feet. @_Joanna_
Oh wow im dumb for missing that. Thank you so much
lol no u r genius.....it happens sometimes :)
