Here my question about P(robability): a) Draw a tree diagram to represent the following situation and use it to answer the questions: (you can use other reasoning to compute these numbers as a check)Flip a coin, then roll a (6-sided) die. (b) How many total possible outcomes are there? (c) How many outcomes have a number less than 3 showing on the die?

they have something called a counting rule .. a tree is a good representation of it count the number of ending points for the total outcome, and count all the ones that have a number less than 3 in them
