What is the Greatest Common Factor of x^6 and x^4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, if you write out all their factors, you get: x*x*x*x*x*x and x*x*x*x Both have x*x*x*x in common, which is x^4. So the GCF is x^4.
