16-6z=4z-9
Ok so this is what you do: You have a common variable of z so add the 6z to the other side thus making the equation 16=10z-9. Now move over the 9, 27=10z solve for z
sorry 25=10z
So would z= 2.5?
yes but u need to show the work @Gabbie_A
16-6z=4z-9 combine like terms first -6z+4z=-2z 16+ -9 = 7 -2z=7 over -2 so we can cancel out the -2 to get z by itself. z=7
z = 7 that is correct
How did you get 16+-9=7?
because you combine the like terms. such as i did with -2z and 4z , i repeated the same process with the 16 and -9. when you combine all of your terms you are left with your variable in which in this case is -2z and you are left to cancel it out to get z by itself. making z=7.
something isnt right about this problem but oh well
the numbers arent equal
Wait 7 isn't the correct answer at all
The people who help you did there math incorrectly the correct answer is z = 2.5 not 7. Because when you replace the variable z with 2.5 you get 1 = 1 on both sides of the equation. If you need me to explain in more detail just tag me
yeah i agree
So is everyone Good now or what?
the person who ask the question is gone or offline so not point reply until he get back and read this message
Well there is a point there notifications will alarm them when they log back on @Andresfon12 Just think
