Find k so that the following function is continuous on any interval:\[j(x)=kcosx~~~~x \le0\]\[j(x)=e ^{x}-k~~~~x >0\]
\[\Large\rm j(x)=\cases{k \cos x, &$\rm x\le0$\\ \rm e^x-k, &$\rm x\gt0$}\]
So ummm...
Yes, I wasn't sure how to get them together. kcosx=e^x-k?
On the left side, we have some kind of cosine, on the right side, an exponential,|dw:1410042092811:dw|
