Find the discount on a leather recliner with a regular price of $795 if the recliner is 15% off. What is the sale price of the recliner?

OpenStudy (ahsome):

First, turn 15% to decimal \[Decimal=Percentage/100\] \[15/100=0.15\] Then, times the Price by the Discount in decimal form \[$Discount=Price*PercentageDecimal\] \[$795*0.15=$119.25\] Then take that away from the total price: \[DiscountedPrice=Total-Discount\] \[$795-$119.25=$675.75\]
