I'm in college and I'm writing a paper on a short story that I just read. This would be a very simple assignment, but my professor told me that I cannot use an introduction. How can I start off my paper without an introduction?

What you pretty much need to do is write one but dont include it in your essay. Use the intro to write the rest of your essay as normal. And i suppose then you can make your conclusion a lot stronger because you will be restating something you "havent" wrote. I hope that helps.
