1

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

Are you sure?

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

@iambatman @dumbcow

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

umm just look at graph. the solution is point of intersection at what x value do they cross?

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

3?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

yep easy right

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

Oh wow, I'm dumb. Thank you so much! :)

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

yw, and if its not clear on graph , just set equations equal to each other --> x+1 = -x +5 --> 2x = 6 --> x = 3

OpenStudy (happyfeet8040):

It was right! And thank you, I'll keep that in mind. :)

OpenStudy (triciaal):

yeyes read the graph at the intersection x = 3

OpenStudy (triciaal):

remember the solution to a system of equations is the point (s) that satisfy both equations. for a graph always where they meet
