HELP? Best answer will get a medal Which of the following describes a situation in which the total distance a soccer player travels is zero meters from his starting point? The player runs 9 meters forward, and then runs 0 meters in the opposite direction. The player runs 5 meters forward, and then runs 6 meters in the opposite direction. The player runs 10 meters forward, and then runs 10 meters in the opposite direction. The player runs 6 meters forward, and then runs 5 meters in the opposite direction.

This is just like the negative numbers, whenever the soccer player runs forward, all you have to do is cancel that number out with a equal distance in the opposite direction. Do you think you can figure it out?

If not I'll tell you, but I want you to give it a shot :)

tell me please

i think its ..a?

You can do this :) think of the first number as a negative. With (A), you run (for the sake of the example, negative 9 meters) -9 meters, and then 0. You are still at -9. You need to find the answer that is equal to and cancels the first number out.
