Which source would best help a historian understand how the Great Chicago Fire affected families?

Options?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a biography of a Chicago family displaced by the fire a letter from a grandmother in New York to her family in Chicago a newspaper editorial about families who were displaced an oral history dictated by an adolescent who fled the fire

I would say either the newspaper article if it is from the time period or the oral history. Closest thing to a primary source.

thanks a lot it was oral history
