n^4 -10n^2 +24 (n^2 -6)(n^2 -4) (n^2 -4) (n-2)(n+2) ---------------- = ---------------- = --------- = ----------------- n^4 -9n^2 +18 (n^2 -6)(n^2 -3) (n^2 -3) (n- sqrt3)(n+sqrt3) 1. you can factotiz them completly like 2. simplifie (n^2 -6) and will remain 3. so the denominator i have wrote with squarroot just for you can understanding that not can simplifie again hope this will help you understanding easy
