how does the following quote support or reject the following principles-limited government, natural rights, or separation of powers. "Liberty may be endangered by the abuse of liberty, but also by the abuse of power."—James Madison

OpenStudy (caitlinnr14):

IS it a multiple choice or essay?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's a essay. I got the first part of this question down but don't understand or get this part at all.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

power and liberty are not the same thing, they are on different sides limited power = more liberty, while more power = less liberty, it's a delicate balancing act

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay & would separation of powers suport this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

separation of powers = an act of vesting the legislative, executive, and judicial powers of government in separate bodies
