Can (2y)/(xy^2 - y^3) be simplified anymore?

OpenStudy (phi):

yes, you can factor a y from the bottom and "cancel" with the y up top

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would you get 2/y(x-y)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@phi ?

OpenStudy (phi):

yes, that looks good

OpenStudy (phi):

you could also write it 2/(xy-y^2) which may or may not count as "simplified"
