Help!! I have a organic chem exam in a few days and I really need help understanding a few topics. 1.) What are likely formulas for the following molecules: a.) AlF? b.)CH? How do you figure out what number is correct for the formula? 2.)When its asking to name a compound, how do I know when to use iso, or cyclo? (the example on my review is 1-isopropyl-2-methylcyclopentane) 3.) How do you draw the most stable and the least stable new am projection for 2-methylbutane. I know one is eclipsed and one is staggered but I'm not sure which is the more stable and how you draw it

hi can one of you help me after you help this person

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

question 1 is just a review of general chemistry really... this is something you shouldn't be struggling on before you enter organic chemistry or you are doomed cyclo pertains to a ring formation iso pertains to some presence of symmetry in branch of constituents

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

for question 3 look at the isomers of 2-methylbutane and find out which is more stable by its structure

I did very well in general chemistry I took it a year ago and I'm in need a refresher on how to find the likely formula
