The area of an artist's square canvas can hold 113 square inches of paint. What is the approximate length of one side of the canvas? (Approximate to the nearest hundredth inch.)

OpenStudy (imstuck):

If the area of a square is A = s^2, and you are given the area value, work backwards. You don't know what S is, but you do know that the area is found to be 113 by squaring the side. Undo a squaring by taking the square root.

OpenStudy (imstuck):

\[\sqrt{113}=?\]
