Can you help me solve -9+8k=7+4k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k=4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you would subtract the 4k from the right side so that you can get the k on only one side of the equation. \[-9+4k=7\] then you continue to solve..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-9 turns into 9 add it to 7 and get 16 then take 4k and - 8k and get 4k now do 4k divided by 16 and get 4 k=4 thats it

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):

OpenStudy (shadowlegendx):
