what is the range of this function ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[f(x)=\sqrt{x+5}-\sqrt{x+1}\]

I think (0,2)

but I need a solution .

From 0 to 2 is the range

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The domain of this function covers all of x's except those for which the function is forbidden. so it is x>=-1. For x = -1 you'll get a 2 but as x tends to infinity that is shown to get a zero though. so the range starts from 2 and ends up with a 0.

(0,2)
