During positive GDP growth or a boom, incomes are high and therefore so also is disposable income, this makes people more likely to purchase normal goods such as bottled water

During negative economic growth or a recession, reduced incomes result in the increased sale of inferior good which include tap water.  don't write this word for word obviously but here you go :)
