OpenStudy (tabithax3):

Can someone please check my work? Problem: How many pounds does 36.0000 quart of mercury weigh? Its density is 13.6 g/mL.

OpenStudy (tabithax3):

I'm not sure if I did this problem correctly

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

This should probably be your answer: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=How+much+does+36.0000qt+of+murcury+weigh+in+pounds Looks right to me :) Your quart conversion is slightly different from what I have seen, http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=1+qt+to+L hence your slight difference in answer. A widget I have also reports the same number of 0.9463 but it probably doesnt even matter
