Correlations!! i need help. i have a graph with a vertical line across. all y-coordinates are the same. would this be no correlation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it going straight across or all over the place

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the points are lined up. the line is going straight across through all the points

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like is it on the x axis all the way across

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(15, 17), (21, 17), (17, 17), (22, 17), (16, 17), (19, 17), (18, 17) these are the points

@SierraThePanda

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That would be no correlation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that was my guess too. could you explain please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's no correlation because all the points with y are 17. If It Is on any axis like the number 17 but it's on the same point every time like (4,17) (5,17) then it will be no correlation because it goes in a straight line and not in a positive slope or a negative slope

oh i see. thank you!!!
