i need somebody to explain pointers in c and constructors and deconstructors in C++

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

A pointer points to a memory address. That address can reperesnt basically any data type and if I recall even a function. A constructor, well, constructs or builds. Lets say you make an object that can take 0 to 4 optional inputs when being made. The constructor lets you evaluate the object creation and "builds" the object accordingly. A destructor or deconstructor is a way of cleaning up. It makes sure that the object is gone, along with all memory it used.
